In the first section you will learn 9 Basic Patterns filled with gorgeous moves that you can use with any music. And Shamira uses all kinds of music with her instruction. Then to put all the patterns together she uses her favorite Greek tune, "Opa!". Everything is broken down for you from both the back and front view. You will feel like you are in a private class with Shamira.
The next section works with Variations on these patterns – small changes, big changes, some entirely new moves. Variations plump up your repertoire, give you an edge, and open up a whole new world of creativity and inspiration. The Variations section uses the "You Wanna Move" music, custom edited by Shamira to make for a show-stopping choreography!
Finally Shamira performs to "You Wanna Move" in full costume, followed by a bonus performance of "Maqam" (in a different costume). "Maqam" wonderfully demonstrates how adaptable the patterns and variations are and how different they can look put to different music. This dance is slow and sensuous and Shamira creates some veil magic at the end. She offers many thanks to Clotaire K for the use of this beautiful track.

I just sat down and watched the whole show.... talk about "Smokin' hot, you wanna move, Bellydance" !! :-) I totally love, love, love the variations on the combinations !!! Same move different look, and then there are the beautiful arm movements, so sleek and emotional. I must say I look forward to working with this. "Thank you" and well done... these new menus are terrific on all the DVDs but the new camera cuts the cake :)

The DVD came today, thank you for sending it so quickly. I've had a quick peek at parts of it, the quality is excellent and I really like the way that you've decorated your studio. I love the "Maqam" dance so that's going to be my next project, although I doubt if the high kicks will figure in my version!! You've surpassed yourself with this one Shamira, I can't wait to get started.
